Project Manager, Biologics Discovery, Pharmaron, Beijing
Responsibilities
1. Serve as a dedicated Project Manager within the Biologics Discovery team to support biologics research service initiatives.
2. Deliver project management oversight for all client programs, ensuring timely execution and high-quality outcomes.
3. Work closely with scientific leads and researchers in BCS to facilitate project advancement and financial closeout.
4. Maintain regular communication (e.g., teleconferences and emails) with internal and external clients on project progress.
5. Proactively convey project risks and challenges to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
6. Utilize digital project management tools to monitor, track, and report on project status.
7. Oversee PO tracking and manage invoicing and payment timelines effectively.
8. Collect, compile, and summarize financial data for reporting to department leadership.
Qualifications
1. PhD or MS in Biology, Chemistry, or related disciplines, with 2–3 years of project management experience in biologics R&D.
2. Solid understanding of biologics development workflows and processes.
3. Familiarity with key techniques in biologics, including recombinant protein and antibody products (e.g., cloning, expression, purification, analytical methods), as well as antibody discovery platforms (e.g., hybridoma, phage display).
4. Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, collaboration, and communication abilities; capable of consistent engagement with technical teams.
5. Strong commitment to scientific rigor and integrity; detail-oriented with careful attention to data and analysis.
6. Self-driven with effective time management; highly dedicated to resolving complex issues and driving solutions to completion.
7. Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Fluent in both English and Chinese; able to conduct routine discussions with native English speakers.
9. Background in financial principles is advantageous.
