As our Senior Product Photographer you are responsible for delivering good quality
product pictures that stand out on our webshops. Y ou will also take care of the structure
and day to day business of the team and work in close contact with our Dutch
Photography team. As this is a new role you are able to see chances and think with us on
how to make this a super efficient team.

What will you be doing?
Currently, an average of 75 products are photographed each week. It is your
responsibility to provide these products with the best possible visual content. Within
our photography team (2 photo- and videographers and 1 production assistant), you will
ensure that all processes run smoothly and improve them where necessary.
Y ou will collaborate closely with two departments: our Dutch photography team
located in Holland (Europe) and our team in Shenzhen. In Shenzhen we have our own
photography studio where the team is located.

Y ou organize photoshoots for our own brand products, working closely with both
teams.
●
Y ou photograph and film the products in our in-house studio.
●
Y ou edit and optimize the visual material and make sure all colors are accurately
represented.
●
Y ou manage a clear planning and coordinate with our Dutch team to set the right
priorities together.
●
Y ou proactively contribute to improving the efficiency and quality of the visual
content creation process.
●
Y ou will join a weekly videocall with our Dutch photography team to discuss the
planning and issues (if necessary). In this call we speak English.

Smartphonehoesjes.nl is an European company and a fast-growing player in the phone
accessories e-commerce business. We are currently active in five countries in Europe
through our own webshops, a B2B channel, and various marketplaces. Every day, we
get to make between 8,000 and 20,000 customers happy with our products.
Our long-term partner in Shenzhen does our quality-control, packaging and shipping. In
this office we have our own photography studio. We are currently building a team that
will be managed from Smartphonehoesjes.nl in Holland, but will operate from
Shenzhen.

What team will you be joining?
Y ou will be part of a new photography team consisting of three colleagues: a
photo/videographer, a production assistant, and yourself.
Y ou will have weekly videocalls with the Dutch photography team and will report to the
Visual Content Manager in Holland.
Y ou will be located in the photography studio in Shenzhen and will get all the product
samples from our colleagues there.
What do we expect from you?

Y ou are an experienced (product) photographer and videographer
●
Y ou have full proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator,
Premiere Pro)
●
Y ou have knowledge of photography equipment and studio lighting
●
Y ou can speak and write English
●
Y ou are organized and structured
●
Y ou have an eye for detail and a strong sense for lighting and materials
●
Y ou are proactive, enthusiastic, and precise
●
Y ou communicate clearly: you monitor deadlines and provide updates when
needed
What do we offer?
Salary
●
A salary between RMB 5.000and RMB 15.000 per month (depending on your
experience)
*based on a 40h work week with flexible working hours (can be more depending
on workload)

Annual bonus between 1.000 RMB-15.000 RMB, paid at the end of the year

Take your own phone case for this assignment. Approach this product as if it were new.
Assignment: Create product photos and a short video of this product.

exactly the same angles as you see in the image request.

Use Adobe Photoshop to edit the photos and make them cut-out (on a
