The Regional Strategic Account Lead will lead and manage strategic relationships and growth for our global FMCG accounts across LazMall on Lazada, working hand-in-hand with local category teams to drive brand success in the region.
Reporting to the Regional Strategic Accounts Category Director, your key responsibilities include:
• Developing business strategies – setting targets, monitoring performance, conducting business reviews
• Building and managing strategic partnerships with leading global FMCG group companies
• Leading retail planning initiatives, understanding P&L dynamics, and negotiating trade terms
• Overseeing promotional strategies, including regional campaign execution and new product launches
• Leveraging data analytics to generate actionable insights that strengthen business and retail plans
• Designing and rolling out standardized processes to enhance regional partnership operations
• Guiding tech product development to enable innovation and improve user experience for key categories and partner groups
• Strengthening capabilities through close coordination with local teams in joint planning for respective FMCG groups
• Driving business expansion by identifying emerging trends and potential brand opportunities on Lazada
• Preparing and delivering presentations for client-facing partnership meetings
Requirements:
- Mid-level management experience with the ability to engage effectively with senior industry leaders and internal leadership to grow Strategic Accounts
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working closely with stakeholders such as brand managers, campaign units, seller operations, category teams, and traffic management to meet business goals
- Solid analytical capability – adept at processing large datasets and translating them into strategic insights
- 6–8+ years of professional experience in e-Commerce or FMCG sectors, preferably in commercial or consulting roles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the Southeast Asian FMCG landscape – prior work with FMCG brands is advantageous
- Foundational understanding of e-Commerce operations – awareness of online business models and the challenges of scaling digital brands
